  • VHS Revue now on Patreon

    Oh hello,

I recently created a Patreon account for my webseries VHS Revue. Made a video for it too, so you know it’s serious.

Join me on a journey through unintentional comedy and general ridiculousness found on old video tapes. It’s mostly funny and/or strange ads and other random stuff taped off Australian TV in the ’80s, ’90s and early ’00s, plus a gag or two in between. It takes quite a bit of time to sift through these tapes so if you like VHS Revue and want to contribute a few dollars to help me make more episodes, I’d be very surprised.

And thank you very much to the baker’s dozen folks who have already subscribed!

  • New VHS Revue episodes in 2021!

Yeeeeeeessssssss! That’s right, over the last couple of months I’ve been spooling my way through more VHS tapes (and a couple of Beta ones) from the VCRs of yesteryear and I’ve found all sorts of wacky stuff worthy of some sort of curated highlight reel. So several new VHS Revue episodes are on the way. The trailer above is just the tip of the ice coffee.

So make sure to click all the things: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram.

Also, I’ve recently started a Patreon just for VHS Revue, so if you like these and want to help me make more I’d be very surprised.

  • VHS Revue 15 – Coast to Coast (1989)

Hey, it’s VHS Revue 15 – Coast to Coast (1989). See why Graham Kennedy really was Australia’s “King of Television”, as well as some weird ads for: Sandhurst Foods, Fab washing powder, the Suzuki Super Carry, Capt’n Snooze, plus a bizarre promo for “Sale of the Century” and some news snippets.

Subscribe et al. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube (and thanks very much to all the lovely people on those sites who’ve shared the videos and said nice things over the last couple of weeks).
