This month VHS marked 50 years since the video format was first released in Japan. Channel 9 made a whole thing about it and being somewhat of an enthusiast, I contributed a short bit explaining what a VHS tape actually is. I guess I was cheaper than using AI like they did with their 70 Years of TV special.
If you were wondering how I did that trick where I pulled all the tape out of the cassette – and VHS Revue fanatics might recall I also did the same gag strolling through Galactic Video back in Episode 34 – tedious news!
