David M. Green here, the inventor of this website, just letting you know that this week on my “comedy” show “Pow-Wow” I’ll be interviewing Richard Marsland. Those of you with a functioning long-term memory would remember he as the panel operator and 3rd host (along with Radio’s Tony Martin & Ed Kavalee) of former Triple M comedy show “Get This,” which is in my opinion the greatest radio show ever. I can sympathise with their predicament of being axed because they were too funny for Triple M (as it was, Pow-Wow was barely approved by Radio Adelaide; thus our tagline “too funny for Radio Adelaide”).
But anyway, tune in to Pow-Wow Wednesday January 30th at 11pm Adelaide time by tuning your radio to Radio Adelaide 101.5FM if you reside in the Adelaide metropolitan area. Otherwise, listen online at www.radio.adelaide.edu.au. We’ll be talking about his time on Get This (obviously), as well as his younger years here in Adelaide on community radio and Channel 7’s “AM Adelaide” with Anne Wills and some other things that I’ve forgotten… so listen out for that!
