  • David M. Green’s Comedy Machine now on Internet Radio!

    Hi,

David M. Green here. Please feel free to call me DMG for short. Ironic twist about that. I work at SAFM, which is owned by Austereo. One of SAFM’s rival radio stations is Nova, which is owned by the Daily Mirror Group (DMG for short), and since it’s probably frowned upon to mention the competition on air, I’ll probably never be able to point out this amusing ‘spot of irony,’ unless via the Internet of course, where everything goes… everything…

Anyway, some great news if you’re a crazed fan of my comedy shows I did on community radio. No, there’s been no change in the cost of Prozac (fingers crossed). BUT… I CAN say the purpose of this blog is to inform YOU that you can now hear my old shows (The Green Room, Brain Damage & Pow-Wow) every Wednesday evening as they’re re-broadcast (syndicated… if you will) on Traxx Radio from sunny Brisbane, Australia!

The 3 shows are being played in their glorious entirety under the name “David M. Green’s Comedy Machine” every Wednesday 7PM GMT+10 (so that’s 6:30PM in Adelaide), starting from Wednesday July 16th 2008. Just go to www.traxxradio.net to listen online and the laughter will live on… that sounded a little corny. Do we have anything better? …We don’t… ok. Denise could you also pick up my dry-cleaning? Thanks. Oh yeah, just finish that up for me. End dictation.

    Kind regards,
    David M. Green
Internet Radio killed the… regular radio… star… who was already dead… thanks a lot video….

  • Sketch Comedian Confuses Seated Audience with Stand-Up

Hey hey you you, who me? Yes you (Get into my car),

Hello, David M. Green here. I did stand-up at a little comedy club in Adelaide called “The Rhino Room” last Wednesday. Here’s the video (apologies for the lighting, but nothing else)… Enjoy!

  • Fruitcup.org Has Arrived!

Hello fellow supporters of the Internet!

David M. Green here (clearly) proudly informing you that the Fruitcup website (www.fruitcup.org) is now officially 100% online! So to see for yourself the refreshingly hilarious Internet Sitcom all your invisible friends are talking about around the water cooler (and behind your backs), simply click on the link or manually re-type the URL (if you’re a REAL fan) into the address bar thing!

Fruitcup follows two incompetent executives working at Fruitcup Enterprises: a company in receivership. The first two 10-minute episodes are now online and available to view for free (like everything else on the Internet!). Stay tuned/clicked/I don’t know because more episodes are in production. But until then, keep cupping that fruit… not sexually… uh…

    Kind regards,
    David M. Green
    Soaring High. Like the Pegasus.

  • The Amazing Adventures of Angina Man!

William Clark is an ordinary man, no different to any other… But he’s a man with an incredible secret… for beneath his non-descript business suit lies a heart packed with cholesterol! And when crime is afoot, William Clark reveals his true nature… He becomes… ANGINA MAN!

Click on the links below to hear the Amazing Adventures of Angina Man, as heard on Brain Damage:

    Kind regards,
    David M. Green
Angina is a serious condition (apparently)

  • SAFM’s New (Traditionalist) Panel Operator

That’s right! I’m officially an employee of Adelaide’s #1 Hit Music Station: 107.1 SAFM! I believe this photo proves it…

Although of course it’s not beyond me to photo-shop myself in front of a background covered in SAFM logos… I guess you’ll just have to take my word for it this time. So I, David M. Green, am now veritably “on the buttons” as SAFM’s newest, youngest and 2nd-most attractive panel operator. I’ve been inspired by the best… Richard Marsland… Sam Mac… uh… anyone know any other well-known panel operators?

So anyway, tune in to SAFM weeknights from 6pm-7pm to hear The Kyle & Jackie O Hour of Power, and then from 7pm-10pm to hear The Hot 30. If you do, you just might hear me pressing the buttons, although not likely, because for that to happen the microphone would need to be turned on to hear the physical “pressing” of the button. But you can hear the effects of my button pushing, in the form of music, commercials and those sweeper things that say “SAFM.” Although I don’t work every weeknight, so it may in fact be one of the other panel operators… but what are you gonna do?

    Kind regards,
    David M. Green
(By the way, very much looking forward to seeing Devo live in Australia!)
