Hi, I’m David M. Green. Comedian, writer, etc. originally from Adelaide, now based in Melbourne, Australia.

I’m also a writer for Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell on ABC TV and recently hosted the TV game show 31 Questions on stations around Australia & New Zealand.

You may have seen me playing a nerd in the webseries Too Easy with Alex Williamson. Or possibly me being an actual nerd in my other webseries VHS Revue, where I trawl through old video tapes. My work has also appeared in/on numerous publications, including The Age, The Drum, mX and Popular Science.

Congratulations on reading this far. Please continue only if you are a die hard fan and/or nut.

I began creating radio comedy in 2006 with The Green Room on Flinders University Student Radio, Radio Adelaide 101.5FM. Other shows include Brain Damage (autumn 2007), Pow-Wow (summer 2007/08) and my favourite: On The Yacht (summer 2008/09). I’ve conducted several high profile interviews (real, as well as fake). I’ve been on Adelaide’s FiveAA, Perth’s 6PR, and made regular guest appearances on 891 ABC Adelaide, Adelaide’s Fresh 92.7FM and Melbourne’s SYN 90.7FM. In 2009, I was writer/co-host for THE Big Show on the Triple M Network. As a professional voice-actor, my voice and I have appeared in video games and radio commercials all over Australia.
After moving to Melbourne in 2010, I completed a Graduate Diploma in Journalism with Distinction at RMIT University and worked on many shows with RMITV Student Television.

In 2011/12, I was the panel operator for “The Steve Vizard Show” on Melbourne Talk Radio MTR1377 and since April 2012, I’ve panelled syndicated radio for Crocmedia, including their flagship program “AFL Live” with legendary sports broadcasters Rex Hunt, Sandy Roberts, Peter Donegan, Shane Crawford & Craig Hutchison. Additionally, I’ve written and produced content for “The Science Show” on ABC Radio National and briefly produced for “Mornings with Jon Faine” on 774 ABC Melbourne.

As an emcee, I’ve worked for Quiz Meisters Trivia and DJ Masters. I was also a South Australian Raw Comedy semi-finalist in 2009 and 2010. I’ve been performing stand-up since 2008 and in 2016, I performed my first solo stand-up show “Fan Club” at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, to no reviews.

A keen-ish environmentalist and connoisseur of fine soft drinks, I also enjoy golf, badminton, motion pictures, the cranberry, light-rail, booth seating, tea, Scrabble, collecting obscure ’80s New Wave records, loitering with friends, and generally having a laugh.
